Rayenia found the log!

This is when Jasmyne forces the Grey to swear to the Dark. In the old timeline, Raye and Calan were bonded, but in the new timeline, they are not, so his part in this has been wiped for the new timeline. Unfortunate, since this was a beautiful piece of roleplay.

(still working on the coloring)

Rayenia reigns in her chestnut mare, slowing down to trot next to her sister after a very spontaneous little race.  Yes a race even when riding side-saddle.. you can imagine the looks the parents gave when these two took off the first time.  "A fair enough day for being in the heart of winter," the Gray smiles over to her sibling, "though not near as cold as home but I think the horses appreciate that."

With a gesture towards the copse of trees nearby, Jasmyne responds, "And I brought food with us.. and I know of a perfect place to eat it. I came out this way a few days ago.. You'll just love this.." she grins widely towards her sister, like the sharing of a secret. With a nudge of her knees, she sends her Saldaean gelding off into the indicated copse of trees. Once the two near the trees, it looks more like a forest beyond but Jasmyne seems to know where she is going as she navigates her mount between the trees. Not too long afterwards, a ramshackled building butted against a low hill comes into view, though slightly hidden by vines, the undergrowth and other trees in the area. "Its been abandoned for awhile.. but it will get us out of the elements."  [Jasmyne]

Rayenia follows her sister since she knows the way.  Once the delapidated building comes into view the Gray tilts her head slightly as if examining it.  With a nod of agreement she looks to her sister, "Is there a place for us to secure our horses? I don't trust this one, she's not as well behaved as Raindrop."  The elder sister dismounts without much a second thought and awaits her sister to join her.

Jasmyne dismounts near the building and walks towards the side where something of a lean-to shed was built into the side of the shack, "Right here.. It'll protect them some as well.. I brought some oats for them too.." Jasmyne seems to have thought of everything. She ties the reigns to the post and removes the saddle bags from the back. With a glance to Raye, she smiles warmly before moving off towards the entrance of the building.

"Oh good," the Gray nods and begins to lead her mount over to the lean-to.  She pats the horse gently on the head after having tied off the reins.  Now, Rayenia didn't pack any saddlebags, she hadn't though to even ask if she should for that matter either.  With a last look to the horses now happily munching on their oats Rayns heads towards the building's entrance.  "How did you find this place, Jas?"  [Rayenia]

Nudging the door open with a toe, the door creaks open ominously, "I gathered up some wood.. I hope its still in here. When I found it riding one day, I thought it would be the perfect place for us to come out to for a few hours. Remaining in the city can be quite restrictive." Settling the saddle bags on what must have been a table in its past life, Jasmyne heads for what could be considered the fireplace, the only thing that really survived the elements since its owners have long since left the place. Busying herself to starting a fire, she chatters on about one of her first excursions out of the city. All light and airy sort of silence filler.  [Jasmyne]

While listening Rayenia looks about the former household curiously, imagining what it might have looked like before the passing of ages.  "Now I know where to go to look for you when I can't find you," she chuckles softly and shakes her head, "unless I'm to forget it's here" she adds with a grin.  [Rayenia]

Once a merrily crackling fire is casting its warmth and light into the room, Jasmyne rises from the hearth and retrieves the saddle bags and begins to unpacking the various things. "Ahh, yes.. If not with Esrahd.. then here. Here, not so often.. but enough to get out of the city from time to time." she looks up with a grin towards her elder sibling. "I brought your favorite and I did manage to pack a travel tea kettle too. No use having lunch in the middle of nowhere without having some civility about it." she giggles softly and heads out the door for a few moments to collect some of the snow from outside to fill the small kettle. When she returns, she heads directly for the fireplace to start the water boiling. "And how is everything with Calan and you going? We havent had a chance to really chat lately.. You normally tell me everything.. I've really missed it.."   [Jasmyne]

Rayenia chuckles at her sister's antics about the civilities of lunch in the boonies.  "Oh.." the Gray pauses for a moment, as if hesitant to enter into this subject, "we're fine," she says eventually, "still getting to know eachother more."  The Gray draws her cloak about her a bit before finding a place to perch.  "I had hoped you weren't upset at us anymore... I thought to give you some space since, well you know."

With a glance upwards, Jasmyne looks to Rayenia for a moment, then begins to smile, "Oh thats wonderful then. Getting to know one another, that is. Then I presume he knows who you serve? Although, I'm sure you have been chattering on about all the antics you and I had managed to get into as we grew up.. including the latest.." Her eyes are more watchful, but her smile is warm and friendly, sisterly even. She unpacks the rest of the lunch on what can be called the table.   [Jasmyne]

Rayenia watches as Jasmyne sets up the luncheon table.  "We've spoken about a good many of things," she nods slightly, "and yes, I was honest with him and he still chose to protect and remain by my side."  The Gray is calm, surprisingly so considering the subject.  "I could not with a clear heart tie him to me without letting him know what he could be possibly subjected to."

"Ahh, then he shall join us?" Jasmyne asks softly as she moves away from the table to check on the water, a glance over her shoulder towards her sister. She embraces Saidar once more to fuel the fire with the One Power, to help the water boil. "It's rather lovely to beable to share your plans with another who thinks the same.. Dont you think." Once the water has begun to boil, she channels a bit of Air to bring the kettle back towards the table and pulls out the cheap ceramic cups she had brought with her.   [Jasmyne]

Rayenia sits still for the most part.  "I have not asked him, I'd not know how to.. nor have I thought on the proper way to do so.  He understands why I have chosen the way I have," she lifts her eyes to hopefully meet her younger sisters, "as you understand.  I don't believe I have the right to ask him."

For a few moments, Jasmyne remains silent as she pours both cups and retrieves the herb packett for the tea and let it steep for a moment. She settles the kettle on the ground beside her, all directed with the weave of Air when she releases it. As she begins speaking, she forms another weave. Made wholly of Spirit, she threads the the disk shape quickly with blunt along the edges, "I understand not wanting to ask or even have the right to ask.." Jasmyne gestures to the tea just as she begins her weave, "However.." her voice rising in tempo, a que of sorts that her sister wouldnt have had prior knowledge of, "You have placed us in danger!" the Shield is flung at her sister's connection to the source, as she swipes the cup of tea across the table, flinging it at her sister at the same instant.  [Jasmyne]

Rayenia instinctively reaches for saidar, her intention to weave a hand of air to bat away the flying cup (and saucer.. ooh aliens!).  A good plan, however her sisters sneak attack with the shield stops the Gray from accomplishing what she wanted.  Jasmyne's shield slams into place, the cup narrowly missing Rayenia as she doubles over from the impact of the shield.  A look of surprise and yet again fear form upon the elder siblings face.

"Jas!" Rayenia gasps, trying for all she's worth to take saidar into her hold, "we can talk about this.."  Dizzied from the shielding and in a decent amount of pain she remains in her half doubled over state only looking up and over to the Yellow.  "He will keep the secret safe, he swore to me he would.."  [Rayenia]

Fire... Ruddy light fighting erratically with the looming darkness leaking from all around the outter walls. It's from within one of these nilhists that it emerges, darkness pulsing deeply as if suddenly consentrated, then spewing a hated birth to the form of the Fade. Deliberate... It's entrance directly behind Rayenia, footsteps soundless on the ancient floor to normal ears, not much better to those who could grasp. His eyeless face looks around, a funny movement considering, though not to be laughed at as the optic void latches on like a leech to blood apon Jasmyne. One nod, mouth wrenching into a silent snarl as his already unsheathed blade smoothly glides back, tip already trained to the vertebra of Ray's neck.  [Esrahd]

"It would be wise for you to co-operate, sister." All warmth drained from Jasmyne's voice when the Fade makes its appearance. "You've told Calan what you are.. and you implied the reason was because of me. I would assume he knows who I serve as well?" The younger sibling stands menacing over the elder, demading in tone to be answered. "You do realize how much danger you have put us all in, dont you?"  [Jasmyne]

While not able to physically see the creature that stands behind her, blade poised to end her miserable little life, Rayenia is very aware of -something- behind her.  Not really wanting to turn around to see she keeps her eyes upon Jasmyne, still working and trying no matter how feeble the attempt to touch saidar yet again.  "I realize the danger that I have placed myself in as well as you.  I realize the danger to having bonded him so early," she tries to push against the shield, not truly expecting it to do much good.  "I realize many things, sister," her tone is now turning chilled, "and I know that I will personally pay for whatever sins in the arenas I walk in when I pass on, I accept this as rote."  The Gray's hands ball up into small fists, not so much a weapon but more an empowerment device.  [Rayenia]

'Ssilly bitch. You women could nevver keep your mouthss sshut" He never moves from his advantage, sword tantalizingly dipping forward quickly in a feint that just might have ended it at that. It's joke brings humour to himself, mouth sneering in utter contempt as he sporadically motions his blade for a false kill. "You truely know sshit about this matter woman. Not only do you put you and thiss thing with you in danger, you put Khoren and all hiss planss at jepardy, not to mention hiss misstresss." His next stab does infact hit, the things precision carving a neat gash across the exposed bone just below the neck.    [Esrahd]

A single thin eyebrow lifts upwards slightly as Rayenia shows some of her temper, but her gaze lifts upwards to the Fade behind Rayenia. "And as such, you will be punished for your error. You are rather lucky I have decided not to remove your betraying tongue, sister. Remove your boot. To do anything else would place you in great peril."  [Jasmyne]

Rayenia sucks in a quick breath as the blade makes a neat gash across the back of her neck.  "My boot..?" she asks curiosly, the odd request having drawn her mind away from the cut she'd just received on her neck.

Hissing siblantly, Synt flicks in again, this time the cut overlaying the horizontal one to form a basic cross. As his blade retracts, Synt leans forwards, the fetid stench of his breath giving clear indication his mouth is right to Rayenia ear. 'Your earss painted on bitch? Take off the fucking thing before I take your foot off totally!"   [Esrahd]

One of the crescent shaped daggers slides effortlessly from along her right forarm, the handle sliding into her hand as the Black sister regards her sister from the short distance. "Yes, remove your boot. Or suffer worse consequences of disobeying." only a bare flicker of her hand gesturing to the creature of the Great Lord and his promise.  [Jasmyne]

Rayenia winces as she's cut again, a thin red cross of blood visible upon the back of her neck now.  The fetid stench of the Fade's breath nearly causes the Gray to vomit, it takes a great deal of concentration to restrain from such an instinctual action.  Fear being the great motivator here the petrified Gray quickly draws off her left boot, afraid to move much more than is needed to perform said action.

Jasmyne retrieves a small rolled up blanket from the saddle bags off the table then returns to kneel before her sister, the glint of the dagger in her hand displayed in one hand as she takes Raye's foot in the other, "Dont fight me." she warns darkly, "How far away is Calan.. Is he coming for you..?" Jasmyne asks quietly, bringing her sisters foot to rest against the rolled up blanket. Jasmyne shows Rayenia the dagger with a dark look, "For your betrayal, rather then losing your tongue.. you'll lose the smallest toe. A small sacrifice, dont you think? Do NOT fail me again, sister." her sapphire orbs darkening considerably as she stares at the older woman, "Because you are of my blood, I wont kill you for this transgression. However, next time, I may not be so lenient. Synt...?" her gaze flickering upwards to the Fade momentarily before returning to her sister, "How are trollocs bred? Are women used?"

Synt snorts as Rayenia does as bid, her reward coming as his oozing tongue slithers out to trace a lovers path across the greys outter ear. 'Thats a good maggot. Will you squirm for me now too?" His voice is but a bare whisper, dreadful in it's russling resonance. His face swings up a fraction to encompass Jasmyne, tone loudening considerably at he toys even further. "If she dosen't do as said woman, I've been given orders to fuck her myself... Trollocs don't use women. I do." [NPC played by Esrahd]

Rayenia struggles to sort through her mind for the right answers.  She nods, "yes.. he is worried.."  The flame-haired sister shivers as that evil evil tongue traces her outer ear, she even moves her head away a bit.  While the Black-yellow speaks to the Fade Rayenia fights the urge to draw her foot up and away from Jasmyne.  Those thoughts however of pulling her foot away are killed at the Fade's words.  "Jas.." fear is clearly heard in her voice, "please dont..?"

With a small shake of her head, Jasmyne stares at Rayenia, "Then you will do as you are told or watch your warder die when he gets here. Tragic, I suppose, as you have only recently found someone to love. More tragic of not only the severing of the bond, but also the broken heart you will experience, as well. Be a good girl, however, and he will live. Maybe." a cruel smile curls her lips. With a deft quickness, she positions the dagger against the joint of the pinky toe, "Dont move, or lose more then one toe." Jasmyne states without remorse, then slices into the flesh with the dagger while holding the foot firmly against the blanket with the other.  [Jasmyne]

An almost lazy smile replaces the eternal sneer on Synt's face, void of eye's intent on the work of the Black-Yellow and his nose taking in large sniffs of the scent trailing behind it. Swiveling after a few moments to look at the side of Rayenia's face, Synt purrs with all the finesse of a rabid dog. 'I like tasting pain... be a good girl and I'll taste you too." Punctuating his point, the fades free arm wraps around infront of Rayenia, the limb of deadened muscle coiling with the quickness of a snake strike to slowly start choking the grey methodically.  [Esrahd]

Trapped between the Fade and her sister Rayenia has little choice, she cannot run nor will be be able to very well after this.  Trying to be brave she shuts her eyes tighly and turns her head to look away.  As the blade of the knife bites into her flesh Rayenia screams and jerks her foot a bit.  Tears of pain and fear begin to roll down her face amidst her screams.  [Rayenia]

Rayenia's screams are muffled as the Fade's limbs entwine about her, causing her to gasp for air more than scream, though she does still scream from the pain and the whole horror of it all.  She tries to fight against the Fade for any kind of freedom, her struggles likely not making it easy for Jasmyne's pedicure procedure.

Once the sharp blade has severed flesh and bone with a nick against the next toe over with all the writhing from the Grey Sister, Jasmyne lifts the blade to show the trail of blood along the silver metal. "Such a beautiful color, dont you think, sister?" She wipes the blade on the blanket beside her sister's bleeding toe then rises from her kneeling position. "What a pretty picture you shall make when Calan arrives. Is he close? I do hope so.." Jasmyne whispers in a dark undertone, "When he arrives, command him to close the door, remove his weapons and toss them all in the corner. 'All' mind you.. I wouldnt like to see him suffer a terrible accident....now would we?" a sinister giggle bubbles up as she moves away from her sister, still maintaining the shield upon her sister. "Oh.. and any more attempts to break your shield and Synt over there can have his way with you."  [Jasmyne]

Rayenia seems to nod, if yuo can call it that, to Jasmyne's words through her gasping for air and writhing in pain and all-out repulsion from being held by a Fade.  The idea of the Fade introducing himself on a more intimate level to Rayenia does -not- sit very well with the Gray for she seems to try and struggle against his hold even more, though there's not a single attempt against that shield, it can stay there right now.

As the fade continues his suffocation of Rayenia, he stabs his blade tip into the floorboards and actually lets go of it. Sliding a straight, twin bladed poinyard from his belt, Synt swings around and over the form of jasmyne's cutting, blade effortlessly coming to rest on your throat as the Fade straddles the chair and sits with his face mere inches from Rayenia's. His smile is viscious to say the least, tone dropping back to an icy whisper. 'You may have the honour of kissing me bitch. If you bite down, I'll tears your throat out and fuck the hole that it opens." Promice laid down, Synt moves in, tongue gliding out with no end of pale mucus dripping from it as he makes for his embrace.  [Esrahd]

The wicked blade of the Fade against her neck ceases her struggling actions as she stares up into the face of the Myrdraal.  The expression upon her tear-stained face is not pleasant, not in the least though to one who likes to see others in pain it would be bliss.  The nine toed Gray  visibly blanches at the prospect of the kiss.  She does not move to embrace the dark being, he will have to do that but she will cooperate.  Squeezing her eyes shut in attempt to block the vision before her she leans forward to place a quick kiss upon the fade.  [Rayenia]

Controlling her own wince, the Black-Yellow moves away from the two love-birds and towards a corner of the room to watch the door, blade still in hand. "Wait on some of your antics for when he arrives.." Jasmyne says as the second crescent dagger slides down her forarm and into her left hand, the two blades reflecting in the orange glow of the fire. "Is he close, sister? I want you to warn us before he comes through that door."   [Jasmyne]

Rayenia nods slightly, eyes still closed as to not have to look at the hideous creature before her.

Synt's grand design dosen't include chaste pecking, free hand wrapping quickly about the back of Ray's head and forcing the kiss fully. His tongue worms it's way in, oddly gentle for all it's deep probing. It's long, horrid and utterly disgusting. Synt seems to be enjoying it emmensely though. [NPC played by Esrahd]

You tell the group, '{bond} disgusted, scared, pain, urgency, anger.. etc. '

Rayenia doesn't seem to be enjoying it however.

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  anger, hatred, love, haste and a sense of almost being at your side'

Jasmyne seems more grossed out by the display of effection the myrdraal is insueing upon her elder sister, and only hopes that she never has to go through anything quite that horrible. Her eyes remain fixed on the door, daggers ready, for when the warder comes through the door to save his Aes Sedai.

The rolled up blanket beneath her left foot is soaking slowly but surely with blood, there's no telling where the severed digit lay now.  While it's not a gaping wound she is slowly losing blood and the effects of bloodloss are evident.  [Rayenia]

The door likely splinters inwards as Calans boot makes a heavy impact with with it, though he is still yet only a trainee he moves to the eyes of those within with the all the fluid, deadly grace of a hunting cat, longsword clasped in his right hand and a cloak held bundled in his left. One cold, clear and emotionless gaze sweeps the room in a split second before he continues inward, the bundled cloak being flung towards Jasmyne, now revealed as holding a half dozen fist sized rocks, as well as the material itself, whilst he steps swiflt towards the Fade, meaning to strike at the creature whilst Jasmyne is distracted hopefully.  [Calan]

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  the moment before the door is kicked in everything dulls, at the sight of the fade kissing her a faint pulse of anger and sorrow but all buried under the void.'

As the door bursts open, Synt swivels off Rayenia's lap, the motion breezing him back behind the seated woman and giving her only a moments pause before the dagger is pressed firmly to the earlier cut cross on the back of her neck. Nothing is considered for Jasmyne, the Fades words cutting through calamity in a tone brooking the eyeless' full power. "Don't be fucking stupid maggot. Or do you want to see what my knife looks like poking through this bitches right eye socket point first?" His body ducks slightly as he steadies himself, free hand lancing out and behind him to regather the sword sticking out of the floorboards.  [Esrahd]

You tell the group, '{bond} Repulsed, scared, panicked, in great pain  fear for you.. of course there's the love thing but I cant write it right at this moment. '

As soon as Rayenia's throat is free of the Fade's tongue she yells for Calan.  "Calan! Don't... just please.." she's scared, its easy to see, "drop your weapons.. or they'll kill you..." [Rayenia]

"You will kill her." Jasmyne states matter-a-factly, her arm coming up protectively to bat away the cloak and getting bruised in the process, as well as taking a sideways step to avoid the majority of the rocks. Once Rayenia has cried out the instructions, Jasmyne states in a chilly voice, "Why dont you be a good boy.. and you wont die.. today. Toss the weapons over in that corner.. and take a seat. We've been expecting you."  [Jasmyne]

If the words penetrate the Void and reach him, Calan gives no sign of it immediately, his entire attention focused upon the knife the Fade holds to Rayenia. Longsword now clasped double handed and held horizontal at shoulder height, the tip never wavers once from the creatures face, perhaps two paces distant, and with Rayenia between them. "Swear she will not be further harmed Jasmyne, if any shred of love for your sister remains, swear it and I will do anything, willingly." The words spoken quietly and with little if any emotion to them, toneless and cold, the last word added as the only bargain he might be able to make.  [Calan]

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  desperation, love and shame that he failed you'

Another brutal laugh from the fade, his longsword now reaching up to hover tip down near Rayenia's right collarbone. 'Shouldn't be asking someone who has no control over my actions worm." Applying a practical session of his own, Synt dips the tip of the dagger into the cross wound, slowly twisting the broad edge to widen a nice hole in the back of her flesh. "Sit down."  [Esrahd]

"She has already been punished for her transgression, for her betrayal, Calan. Today, she wont be harmed further.. unless she provokes me." Jasmyne states coldly, "You on the other hand.. I wont give promise what your fate will be. However, should -you- provoke me.. I'll force you to watch Raye couple with the myradraal. As entertaining as that might be.. It's not a fantasy." She merely smirks. "You wound me, however, had any other found out about her betrayal, you would have come upon a corpse then the scene before you now."  [Jasmyne]

Rayenia cries out in pain as the blade twists in the cross-cut wound at the back of her neck.

With a dull clang the longsword crashes against the far wall of the cabin before clattering to the floor as Calan hurls it aside, the only sign of any feeling from the young Kandori, legs folding beneath himself he drops to the floor crosslegged. "I have done as you... command." The last word perhaps an attempt to show some servility? The Trainee eyes fixed to Rayenias he sits upon the dirty floor, his face still a mask within the Void, likely the only reason he's not shaking with fear from the Fades very presence.  [Calan]

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  horror, fear (far far more than he shows) anger and complete shame'

You tell the group, '{bond} growing weak - bloodloss and extreme emotional stress and physical trauma. shame for having you have to be involved in this '

Synt nods faintly as the weapon is skittered away, his own blades lowering away from the grey. This isn't to say she's safe, no no no no! If anything she's now in more danger than she was beforehand. [NPC played by Esrahd]

"Is that all your weapons..?" Jasmyne asks as she steps up behind him, the blade of the crescent dagger trailing along the back of his neck like a lovers caress. Her left hand, the twin blade comes into view briefly before she brings it up against his artery along his neck. A bedroom whisper flows from her lips against his ear, a husky sultriness in the undertones, "I should kill you now." She nibbles against the top of his ear while her gaze rests upon Rayenia, the blade in her right handmoving down his torso and making sure he knows exactly where the point is when she reaches just between two ribs that would pierce his lungs were she to drive the blade home. "However, I do care about my sister and would perfer not to watch her go through bondloss when I need her services very soon." Her pink tongue flicks out to trail down to the lobe before she speaks again, "Now you, on the other hand.. You are expendable. What to do.. what to do.. Hmm?"  [Jasmyne]

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  disgust, fear (for her much more than himself) and despair'

Calan sits perfectly still with his eyes locked to Rayenia, a fine crimson trail growing along the back of his neck as the daggers deadly caress splits skin but little more. Lips barely parted in a faint, toneless whisper, that the Fade hopefully cannot hear Calans words are aimed for Jasmyne alone. "Do whatever you will. But save her from that, she is your sister, protect her, show her you are the stronger by saving her where she cannot save herself. I can feel her fading." A touch of urgency slipping through the Void with those last words as he clings onto that last protection from the horror Jasmyne has wrought.

Silent tears roll down Rayenia's face as she watches Calan from her blade and fade held imprisonment.  She doesn't speak though her eyes to reach out to Calan silently as if holding onto his image is her only grip on things pure at this time.  [Rayenia]

"Swear allegiance to the Great Lord of the Dark." Jasmyne states softly in his ear. "Swear your life, breath and soul on it. Not just pretty words, my dear. I have a task already in mind for you. You will do murder to prove yourself to me. You do understand, do you not?"  [Jasmyne]

Synt stands silent to this, no movement, not even a whisper of it showing as the midnight clad nightmare becomes that of a sentinel guarding it's ward. [NPC played by Esrahd]

From the look in his eyes, Calan yearns to take Rayenia in his arms and make it all better, but he can't can he, instead he simply nods once to Jasmynes demands. "Whatever you command, so long as she lives. I do not know what words you desire, what... Oaths you wish. Tell me and I will swear instantly, just save her Jasmyne, I know what his blades will do, I felt the cuts, she cannot have long left." Definate urgency in the Kandoris voice now, the Void beginging to crack beneath the strain.  [Calan]

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  terror now, not of jasmyne or the fade but of losing her, also a desperate, aching love and sorrow'

Calan's words spark something in the Myrdraal, the stoneyness crashing away as his sword arm raises to let its flat rest on Rayenia's shoulder, edge scant millimeters from her exposed neck. 'Listen carefully man thing. Your words will suffice for her but with me they wash like shit off water. One wrong move and I'll show you just how painful being bonded can be." His words are flat with promice, that sword of his bouncing to tap the shoulder pointedly.  [Esrahd]

With a slow nod of her head, Jasmyne replies softly, "Look to Synt and repeat after me." her voice a low sultry murmur despite the circumstances that binds them to her. "The Great Lord of the Dark is my Master,.." A pause to allow him to repeat the words, "and most heartily do I serve him to the last shred of my very soul...." "Lo my Master is death's Master. Asking nothing do I serve against the day of his coming,.." "yet do I serve in the sure and certain hope of life everlasting...." "Surely the faithful shall be exalted in the land, exalted above the unbelievers,.." "exalted above thrones,.." "yet do I serve humbly against the Day of his Return..." "Swift come the Day of Return..." "Swift come the Great Lord of the Dark to guide us..." "and rule the world forever and ever."   [Jasmyne]

Without pause, the moment Jasmyne speaks the words Calan follows suit, his heart in hsi eyes as he gazes to Rayenia. "The Great Lord of the Dark is my Master, and most heartily do I serve him to the last shred of my very soul. Lo my Master is death's Master. Asking nothing do I serve against the day of his coming, yet do I serve in the sure and certain hope of life everlasting." A faint spark of something, perhaps hope? flickers and fades from his gaze though there is no other outward sign of any feeling. "Surely the faithful shall be exalted in the land, exalted above the unbelievers, exalted above thrones, yet do I serve humbly against the Day of his Return. Swift come the Day of Return. Swift come the Great Lord of the Dark to guide us and rule the world forever and ever." Lapsing into silence after he is done for but an instant before he speaks again, "Please, I beg you, heal her Jasmyne, that Steel is killing her, I can feel her going..."   [Calan]

Sliding the dangerously sharp blade against Calan's neck like a lovers caress, Jasmyne rises from behind him and moves away, "Place your hands behind your head.." she moves away and slips one of the daggers back up into her sleeve. She moves back to her saddlebag and removes a length of rope from within before returning behind Calan.  [Jasmyne]

Calan's hands rise swiftly and lay behind his head, the man obviously growing frantic in his worry now as the Void slips from him, his eyes wide with fear? no, terror. Though sadly for Slynt not actually of him in the main, from the desperate look he sends to Rayenia it is for her life he fears. "Hold on Rayenia... hold on." His words hopefully carrying to quickly fading Sedai, "Please Jasmyne, just heal her I beg you!" Panic in his voice now as it sounds through the small shack.

Rayenia is like sitting and bleeding.. can't get more descriptive on it really.  Her eyes remain upon Calan, her Knight even though he now be dark.

Once Calan has complied, Jasmyne positions the trainee's wrists how she wants them then begins looping the rope around first one wrist then the singularly around the other, pulling it taut. She then winds the rest of the rope around both wrists then around his neck before tying it off. Should he pull his hands apart, the rope around his neck would tighten. She moves away from him and brings herself beside her sister. Looking somewhere above Rayenia's head, Jasmyne ties off the shield she has upon her sister. Laying her fingertips against Rayenia's temples, the Yellow draws on more Saidar then she needed for the Shield and begins to weave a complex matrix of Spirit, Air and Water, interlacing them all together, she then adds a bit of Fire to the mix to burn off the taint which has already begun to work against the Grey Sister.  [Jasmyne]

If the ropes matter aught to him little of it shows in Calans expression, his only eyes for Rayenia, plainly willing her to survive before his face suddenly widens in suprise. "Rayenia, draw upon me, use me, use my strength, take it." The words quickly called out as he remembers one of the many lectures upon the Bond and how it can work and be used by both Sedai and Warder, whether or not he is one yet, all that matters at the moment that it -can- be done.  [Calan]

Rayenia's weakened body jerks when the flows of saidar enter her body.  She is faintly aware, though nearly fully conscious, as to what is going on around her.  The Gray's eyes have never left Calan, they remain fixed upon him.  As the flows begin to work she pulls upon Calan's strength slowly using the bond to help though it's a weak pull it's still a pull.

The Healing weaves work on Rayenia immediatly - if not somewhat more slowly. The poisons in Rayenia's body slowly oozing out the marks that had been made upon the back of her neck. The Fire used more to burn away any remnant and as a means to purify. Once the Yellow has finished, she moves away to sag against the wall, her eyes flittering between Calan and Rayenia. "Do not burst your shield. Synt can feel if you embrace.. and he's given order to waste my Healing efforts and kill you. Calan, you are to remain where you are. Any movements from you.. and I'll make you watch her get raped by the Eyeless one." her voice comes out more tired as she reiterates the threats. After a few moments, she carefully picks her way over towards the table where she left the food the two sisters never ate. With a few bits of meat and a loaf of bread, she returns to her sister to share the feast.  [Jasmyne]

Calan sags faintly at the first, strange sensation of strength leaving him before sitting upright again, his own eyes returning her gaze and plainly begging her to survive. "Please Rayenia, please. Live." Soft and repeated over and over, the words a fervent prayer, though who may be listening to them now could anyone say? Though perhaps indeed there is someone who hears, tears shining in his eyes before falling as Jasmyne heals her sister, saving the life she put in danger, the threats fall upon deaf ears, the man plainly never going to do anything what might risk Rayenia.

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  relief, love and sorrow still at all you have suffered'

You tell the group, '{bond} the pulling for strength leaves, love remains, fear as well '

Rayenia looks over to Jasmyne quietly before turning her gaze back to Calan.  "shh.. I'll be alright.." she softly replies to her Gaidin, trying to reassure him.  She mouths those three little words 'I love you' to Calan.  "What will you do with us now?" she asks of Jasmyne weakly.

Oh yeah, and Rayenia's toe gets Healed inadvertantly. The bleeding, if it hadnt already slowed to a trickle has now closed up completely. "Eat. Regain some of your strength. I do not control the Eyeless - I did not know he would cut you. You are still my sister.. but you did endanger us both. He may have sworn his oath to you to remain silent.. but it means nothing for my own safety." her voice softening considerably to levels that the sibling would recognize as the voice she uses when the two are sharing a secret between them. "When he was giving Oath to the Great Lord of the Dark.. Tell me.. what were his emotions?" a hint of concern etches through her voice, as though speaking of a patient.  [Jasmyne]

Calan tells the group, '-[ terror (for her), hopelessness, fear, sorrow. ]-'

"There were many," she refrains from any familiar words of recognition currently, "I felt he was sorrowful for not being able to protect me," "fear of what would happen, hopeless as at the time I was quite injured.."  "terror... it's not an oath to take lightly."  Rayenia looks over to Calan trying to reassure him as much as possible though a smile is not something she's capable of at the moment.  "Much what I felt when I swore... I refused to let you walk in hell alone, my love for you prompts me to serve willingly.. is it hard to think that he may have a similar situation?"  [Rayenia]

Despite everything, the pain, the blood, the horror, even the fade... a faint smile flickers across Calans lips, purely for Rayenia and gone in an instant. His words softly spoken to Jasmyne, but with a hint of trembling, fear to them, perhaps thanks to Slynt? "If I speak, she will suffer, if I breath a word of this she will suffer, your secret is her secret, you are safe." There is little more than despair and perhaps a touch of horror colouring them, "I am your creature now Jasmyne, do what you will, but I beg you, ensure Rayenias safety."  [Calan]

"No!" Rayenia protests as she tries to get up, still not having eaten anything.  "I will not let her 'take' you, she does not own you.."  The idea is confusing to the Gray and yet again tears form in her tawny eyes and threaten to spill forth.  [Rayenia]

You tell the group, '{bond} confusion '

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  soothing calm and love, a desire to protect you above all else.'

Canting her head to one side, Jasmyen regards her sister for a moment, "You beleive you walk a path of hell? Is this the mistake I made to think you were wholly willing.. but not so? Perhaps, we should help him come to terms with his own choices, hmm?" When Rayenia tries to stand, Jasmyne places her hand against her sister's shoulder to push her back down. Synt more then likely made certain she remained seated since his blade still rests atop of her other shoudler as well. "Be still.. I dont control the Eyeless and I cant ensure I can Heal you again should he decide to strike you." For now, she avoids answering Calan's words.  [Jasmyne]

"Jasmyne," Rayenia uses that older sister voice, "I chose to serve.  I chose so willingly because I love you.  You are my blood, my only sister and I would not lose you in -any- way.  Because of you, I chose and I am learning how to serve."  The Gray is crying now and words are not something she can put into sentances at this time.  [Rayenia]

Jasmyne caresses her sister's hair, soothing murmurs which the siblings have used with each other over the years growing up, "Yes.. yes.. but if not for me, this would not have been your choice." She lightly graces Raye's cheek with a velvet kiss, "What prompted you to tell him everything.. Did you want him to Serve as you do and will?" a curious question, all the while smoothing out Rayenia's scarlet tresses.

Calan remains silent now, hands roped behind his head and an ever so slight trickle of blood matting the shirt at his back, his eyes upon the pair of them, one sister he would willingly, and has indeed, given his soul for, the other the very one who in her cruelty demanded that.

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  sorrow, love and fear. distrust of jasmyne and her seemingly nice questions.'

"Love and trust.." she tilts her head slightly and looks to her sister, "you do remember those don't you?"  Rayenia is being bitter and cold.  "What would have and could have been are not important now, I know my duties, I know my obligation to serve and I will do so.." she pauses and rewets her lips before adding, "and if I fail, I'll fall on my own blade."  [Rayenia]

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  sudden fear'

You tell the group, '{bond} seriousness.  love is still present, it hasn't ever left.  she's oddly not afraid at this point.. near death experience does that. '

"You know my stance on relationships and bonding, dont you?" A wry twist of her mouth, "His purpose is to protect you, die for you. He's not there to coddle you and whisper sweet nothings in your ear. There is a big IF whether he will will live to a ripe old age. Not many do." her voice dipping into lecture tone when she waves it away and gives a shake of her head, "However, he is right in one regard. He's my creature to command. Just as you are. I will be assigning you a duty soon.. There are two things which need to be accomplished."  [Jasmyne]

Bleeding, tied and broken? Calan sits quietly upon the floor of the hut, head tipped towards the floor he watches from wide, sad eyes Rayenia and her sister, the feelings for one, quite different to those for the other, though for now he remains silent, holding his peace and learning to reocognise the feelings of a Shadowspawn closeby.  [Calan]

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  alternately love for her and disgust for jasmyne, as well as fear of the fade and... concentration.'

The fade remains quiet throughout all this, whether it's a command or simply his own thoughts keeping his mouth from opening who knows. What is strange however is the second figure that emerges from the darkened recess the Fade came from. "Actually he isn't yours Sedai..." His willowy form stands at a similar height to Synt, though his full features remain obscured in darkness. "Rayenia came to us willingly, albeit a little forced by her love. She should be rewarded for this. Rayenia, your mate seems to have a need to be owned... Will you take that ownership?"  [Esrahd]

Rayenia's expression is that of surprise and shock.  Two fades?  Surely not.  Turning her eyes to meet the form of this second voice Rayenia pauses a moment before replying.  "I would," she speaks, her voice weak.

At the intrusion of a new voice, Calans head snaps up, certainty there was no-one there before etched upon his face, unable apparently to play a completely meek role regardless, hardly suprising really. Though he remains silent as the figure and Rayenia speak his gaze slowly rises from boots and upwards, memorising as much of the clothing as he can see, trying to pierce the shadows which hide it's identity.  [Calan]

Jasmyne turns her attention to the new voice, a blink of surprise and a slightly confused look touching the surface of her orbs as she brings her hand to touch her temple, "Esrahd? How..?" her gaze flicks between the direction of the palace and then to where his shadowy form has materialized. "What is happening..?"

"Then he is yours Rayenia." It shifts slightly to look down at Calan, an exageration of movement that looks to pain whatever it is emmensly. "It's foolishness  to have taken on the bond so early lad. Love or whatever, you don't have the skill or adaption to put yourself in for this amount of responcibility. I'll charge you with one thing. When all is done here, seek me out so that we can give you what you lack." It shifts again, towards Jasmyne now, slower again as it seems to be trying to catch it's breath.  [Esrahd]

Jasmyne tries to shake her head, "Esrahd.. leave.. go.. I'll be there.. We're done here. He has sworn himself.." She draws away from Rayenia and the other Fade to move towards the saddlebags. Her voice sounding almost.. frantic?

Rayenia looks quizzically to her sister in her newly aquired state.  "Thank you," the Gray's words directed to Esrahd's shadowy figure, quite sincere.  After a thankful nod to Esrahd the flame-haired sister looks over to Calan.

Keeping his voice as level as possible, fear and confusion warring upon his face Calan growls a few low and unsure words to the Shadow figure. "Seek who out? Where? Who...what are you...?" The presence of this thing, the Fade and the accumulated fear, worry and sorrow clearly almost panicing him. Instinctively he flexes his wrists without thinking, a suppresed choke coming from him as the rope cuts into his neck a little.  [Calan]

Rayenia leans forward as Calan is choked by the ropes about his wrists and neck.  Still shielded she cannot channel them loose, a pity.  However, she attempts to rise with the intention of untieing those ropes should she actually get over there.

It kneels now, one hand apon the floor as it looks to gasp for air. "Jasmyne... This has taken everything from me... bring him when he's..." then with a sigh like that of one's final exhalation it dissipates, motes of inked shadow spilling like water spilling over the floor and away into the crevices below. Synt at this point shakes his head, pressure put firmlyn on his blade to keep Rayenia from moving. "Don't bother. Just tell him to relax. Stupid mud born." It's facial void glances to Jasmyne, words dipping out of menace as he continues. "Khoren will need you now. Best you get moving before we all have to answer to the Mistress."  [Esrahd]

The Fade's blade a reminder as to why she does not rise.  Rayenia looks pleadingly over to Calan, making a pausing gesture towards him while remaining silent.  [Rayenia]

Calan forces his hands back behind him, relieving the pressure on his neck as he shoots a pleading look to Rayenia, shaking his head a little as he does so and the Fade puts pressure upon the deadly steel so close to her. Taking a clear, free breath to assure her he is fine, the sight of the ghostly exit widening his eyes in fear.

A moment of stricken fear and her face becoming ashen when she notes Esrahd's shadowy form. Without thought for sister or her sister's bondmate, Jasmyne rushes for the saddlebags, snatching them up and racing for the door. In a moment of coherent thought, she turns to regard Rayenia with a blank look. "Count to 100 hundred.. untie him and eat.. both of you.. Before you return.. bust through the shield. I.. cannot right now.. I.." with a glance over her shoulder.. a noise of frustration, the yellow bolts out the door and runs for her horse. A whiney of protest when the beast snorts, then the sound of galloping as the woman heads back for civilization.  [Jasmyne]

Rayenia watches in awe.. no horrorfilled surprise as Jasmyne flees with her horse to aide Esrahd while leaving Calan and her alone with the Fade.

Calan's face darkens as Jasmyne apparently flees the shack in some terrible hurry, looking across to Rayenia his eyes carry whatever feelings he cannot speak at present, though there can be read a relative certainty of death now upon his face, and of course the fear the very presence of the Eyeless engenders, though he's about had his weekly dose of fear in one night.

Calan tells the group, '{bond}  sorrow and an outpouring of love, in the background an acceptance that death is likely close and fear for you'

Synt merely shakes his head at the entire scene, a stream of alien words barked out in some rhetorical curse apon all human filth most likely. The blade lifts though, and Synt takes a smooth step backwards and towards the sancuary of shadow. "As she said. Count to one hundred and try to stay alive." Another step and he disappears completely, words framing the monsters passing from this place. "Never think for one moment that we aren't watching you. Never think that you're totally safe..." [NPC played by Esrahd]
